About the Author
Timothy J. Allen is not a professional Writer. His career is that of a Businessman. His career prior to retirement in 2024 was that of a Pricing and Business Operations Professional and thought leader in multiple organizations. During his career he has worked for Unisys Corporation, pricing computer hardware, software and services products, helping turn a struggling public sector division into a profitable one, through implementation of sound business practices; Unisys Federal Systems in Northern Virginia; ENSCO Inc. Springfield, Va.; Avaya Inc. in Basking Ridge, NJ; and IQVIA (nee IMS Health) in the Life Sciences Industry. He retired in 2024 and concentrated on one his true passions – History.
Tim attended St. Athanasius Church and School in Philadelphia (through the 4th grade), following in his family’s (Mom, Dad and siblings) footsteps up to that time. The family relocated to beautiful central Bucks County, where he finished his elementary schooling at Nativity of Our Lord in Warminster, Pa. All through these years he was guided by the Sisters of St. Joseph. He furthered his education at Archbishop Wood High School. He attended LaSalle University, where he attained both his undergraduate and Masters (MBA) degrees.
Always fascinated by history and living in the shadows of such places as Washington’s Crossing in Bucks County, Valley Forge, in Montgomery County and Gettysburg in Adams County Pa., Tim has had more than enough opportunities to explore the great history of our Country.
